This recipe is dairy and refined sugar-free, very simple to make, and will only take you a few minutes to put together. The hardest part is waiting for it to set!
Ingredients
100g raw cacao butter - chopped into small pieces
70g raw cacao powder
2 tbsp rice malt syrup, honey or maple syrup (you can adjust the sweetness to your taste)
Sea salt optional
Method
Place a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of hot water on low heat.
Place the cacao butter into the bowl with the sweetener of your choice. Ensure no water gets into the chocolate mix, as this will ruin the chocolate.
Stir the mixture well until all ingredients are melted together and fully dissolved.
Remove the bowl from heat, add the cacao powder, and stir until the mixture is smooth.
Use any moulds or simply place them in a square or rectangle container and freeze for 30-60min.
For a decadent variation, sprinkle some sea salt on the chocolate before popping it into the freezer.
Carefully pop the chocolates out of the moulds or break them into pieces from the container. Serve immediately or store in the fridge for later.
